He founded his first company, Rossi Management Group, in 1997, delivering ground-up hotels, high-end tenant improvements, banks, law offices and Class A commercial space.
Dave began in construction as a laborer for Dinwiddie Construction in 1987, then earned a Construction Management degree from the Cal Poly School of Architecture. He worked as a project engineer at Rudolph and Sletten and for international builder Taisei Construction before founding his own firms, working across high-end residential, public works, commercial space and remodels.

A Bay Area native born and raised in San Jose, Ruben grew up working summers on his grandparents’ property, from small landscaping projects to full bathroom remodels, demo to finish, where he discovered a passion for custom construction, a drive for problem-solving and an eye for detail.

He spent many years as a carpenter and demolition laborer, much of it with well-known custom-home builder De Mattei Construction, honing his craft on luxury and historical homes. After a period leading in animal care, he returned to fine homebuilding with CIQU.

Early remodeling projects with his father grew into hands-on work as a laborer with RJ Daily Construction and an internship with Pacific Peninsula Group focused on scheduling, budgeting and quality control. He also interned with CIQU as a superintendent and on-site contact, and graduated from Boise State in May 2024 with a BS in Construction Management.
